Who we are
Our mission is to inform, educate and empower our migrant communities by providing accessible resources, reliable information, and meaningful opportunities for engagement. We exist to challenge systemic injustices that create barriers to equity and opportunity, mobilize our communities, and advocate for lasting change. Through collaboration, community leadership, and collective action, we amplify migrant voices and work to advance dignity, inclusion, and sustainable social transformation.

Our story
The foundation was established by Samantha Rodriguez in 2019, when she was just 15 years old. Its creation was inspired by a deeply personal experience: a family friend of Samantha's had been unfairly detained by ICE in Kansas. Witnessing the emotional, legal, and financial effects of that detention sparked her commitment to advocacy and support for migrant communities.
From there, Samantha's vision was inspired to create a platform where families in crisis could find assistance and where young people could engage meaningfully in social justice. She began by sharing verified information, raising awareness, and providing a safe space for youth to participate in civic engagement and advocacy efforts.
Over the past six years, the foundation has grown from a youth-led initiative into a structured, mission-driven organization that combines education, advocacy, and direct community support. It remains rooted in the principles of service, integrity, and empowerment.
